The ANI.ML Team is at Symposium on Arificial Intelligence in Veterinary Medicine (SAVY) 2.0

May 16, 2025

We're here at SAVY, the symposium on artificial intelligence in veterinary medicine at Cornell University. This is only the second but an highly impactful year of this symposium within the veterinary profession.

At ANI.ML, our team has been incredibly hard at work internally and with our collaborators at the University of Guelph and SickKids Hospital. We have worked on

Two of our team members are presenting over the next 3 days, including an oral presentation and abstract. Tyler is presenting on A Framework for Evaluating AI-Generated Veterinary Medical Record Summaries: Development of a Structured Assessment Model and Performance Analysis. Andre is presenting on Oral Tumour Segmentation Using Standard and Fine-Tuned Segmentation Models in Veterinary Oncology.

Both of these studies are unique and are problems that have never been tackled in the veterinary space before. We are incredibly proud of the team and all that they have accomplished to get us here.

Stay tuned for more updates from the conference!
